Could you also please let me know people we should not touch. Really only want to use legal people.

Don't know about ones you should not touch but I would recommend Ben at CDL Caretaking. He's been our property Manager for 3 years now and I don't know what we would have done without him and he is fully legal.

A good man, is Ben, honest and legit. There's not an overabundance of those qualities within the wild-west-like Brit community in Chiclana

From the replies I take it there is only one registered, legal, honest property maintenance company in Chiclana, all the rest are illegal cowboys.

I would never suggest that. There are other good people/firms around, you just need to be diligent in your referencing. Check out the adverts in the back of laluz magazine as a place to start. If you are already based in Chiclana you should have seen it around. If you are not, then check out their website www.laluzmag.com

lol thats exactly what is being said. 90% of companies anywhere in spain are tax-dodging scumbags you'll be hard pushed to find more than 5 pool cleaners / gardeners who actually pay their taxes

The answer to that is obviously NO.

By asking the original question on line you are addressing only a small part of the populace most of whom will not be aware of the question or your later inference.

Thank you all for your recommendations. Nice to hear I'm doing things right.

Dazzle, has it only been 3 years, it seems so much longer

Julie, if you'd like any further information on the services I provide, then please either PM me or send me an e-mail. Details on the website.
Many thanks
Ben

hi,we use dpb, from England, and they send us updates and pictures all the time and it gives us great peace of mind as we can see the maintenance is being done. We also get legal reciepts, which is helpful for wealth tax purposes. Good luck and be careful, we been ripped off also.
