Reasonable underground parking in Seville
I will be driving from Tavira 18th May 2013 and need to find some reasonable parking not too far from the city centre to allow us to walk to most places of interest.
Auroroute shows parking near the Avenida Cristo de La Expiracion after crossing the river. Would these be a reasonable cost and suitable?
I believe there is a tourist office on the Plaza del Triunfo?

One good reason for parking there is that you can avoid trying to negotiate driving through the town centre which is not for the faint hearted

We haven't been to Seville for a couple of year but we used to park under the bus depot .It's located on the left just before you enter the city,& the cathedral is about a 10 minute stroll ,the river is only a couple of minutes & there is a tourist information office .

I have satnav and a street name or junction would be helpful.
In the meantime I will try to locate the bus station.

Hi
Sorry can't help you with the street name, but I assume you will be taking the motorway ,So just before you enter the city you cross the bridge over the river the bus depot is immediately there on the left you can't miss it ( promise )
You can't enter it from here you go pass it take the first left which runs parallel to a mini round about come back on your self & drive straight in
If you want a good tour of the city try taking the horse & carriage tour if you don't fancy walking to far ,they can get to places where the tour buses can't

If you want a tour bus head for the river that's where they park & start from

If you are coming into Seville on the A49 - stay on this motorway, don't be tempted by any other direction signs, until the motorway sort of peters out. You will cross over two bridges over the canal/river.
Keep in the RH lane.
After the second bridge if you take the first Right this will take you round under the bridge to the bus station where you can park in the car park and take a park & ride bus.
or
If you take the 2nd Right this will lead you along beside the river (Paseo de Cristobal Colon), after about 400 meters there are a number of underground carparks entered from the RH lane - just opposite the Bull Ring. These car parks are multi-storey and quite large and usually have plenty of spaces, the pay machines do take cards as well as cash. The jump on/off touristic bus stops are just here too beside the river. It is also a short walk into the historic centre of Sevilla, cathedral etc.

Re: Reasonable underground parking in Seville
Just got back from the Algarve and Seville.
The parking mentioned which is near the tour bus station is ideal. You exit on the other side of the road on foot close to the bull ring so easy to find when returning.
There were two pay machines on the 'top' floor, one was out of action and the other had a notice - no credit cards. That may be temporary, however, there is an attendant in an office on that floor.
