Re: A Real Scorcher!

Well fingers crossed should be in the little appartment soon ............... about 3 weeks I hope and then the second one will be completed ............... and then up stairs to my house ................... and then the gallery ...........Its not really a lot that needs doing .....but he is working alone......... and well fitting gas heaters and water systems seem to take ages ......and then he is building the kitchens and the bathrooms and then the tiling.........today he has fitted the door to the apartment ....but again with the house nothing is that simple ................ non of the walls are straight so it is twice the job really ............... and well I cant really build walls........I paint them when he is finished ............ and he lets me do little things ............ ahhhh
Have you brought a new house Lionda ?
sometimes I think maybe
But then last night in the DIY shop ..............they all know us now and we are on first name terms with some of them ...........Javier in Jerez is a star and well he said "what would he do if he wasnt doing up the house" Javier said "he would be a very board man" LOL
Chatting to all these people really improves our spanish we know lots of building terms ................

Yes we've bought off-plan and are almost at completion - after a 3 year wait!! We have bought and renovated a house in England back in the early 80's did really well as we sold it after 7 years for 8 times what we paid for it. We paid £3000 and sold for £24000. That was a fluke though as there was a housing boom :D We almost sold it for £8000 but the lad buying it backed out because his girlfriend wanted a car instead - then the boom and the price shot up  After we sold we saw the lad in a bar and bought him a drink, he was gutted! We were pleased as punch

What can I say? I am happy as larry lol. My day off and its by far going to be the hottest day! YIPPEEEEEE    The griddle and beer will definately be out for lunch. The only down side is that Man United are playing Liverpool this afternoon so hubby will be cooped up watching it and I will have to be in charge of the griddle

Dyou know I do wonder if the sky could be much bluer! I was lucky enough to go to caribean a couple of Xmases ago (yes I do feel the cold that much) and this weather is similar to then.

Just need the food and pina coladas on tap then perfection occures! Oh well, might be lucky and get bacon sarnies for lunch. Yum
