I visit the Murcia area( Santiago De La Ribera) every 6 th month or so and a few years back we visited the Real Casino in Murcia. It closed for renovations 2/3 years ago and I am finding it difficult to find firm info about its re-opening. It is such a gem of a building would love to visit again and take 87 year old Mother in law for lunch there again. Any one have any info? We will be in Spain 15/4 to 22/4.

Their website says that renovations took place between 2006 and 2009 so, even going by Spanish timescales it should be re-open by now! I went there too about 15 years ago and it's beautiful.
