Default rates and banks

Someone has told me that you can now pay rates bills I.e ibi and bsura at the correos office as our local banks are refusing to deal with them on Mondays and Fridays. Does anyone know if its correct ?

Hi and a warm welcome to the Spanish forum on BE. Myself and Fred James are the moderators for the Spanish forums whilst BEVS moderates Europe. It's much easier to pay IBI by direct debit.
