In 8 years -mainly inland Granada, latterly CdS - I can only remember one bit of rain in June and that was barely spitting. Could be my faulty memory of course but the kind of week they are forecasting seems unusual. Even the temperatures are set to dip to a max of 20 in Estepona tomorrow. I am due to go back to the UK on Saturday for a wedding - maybe I'll have more luck there.

The record for 2009 shows 0.3 mm of rain in Chiclana

2008 no record

2007 8.4 mm of rain

http://www.wunderground.com/weathers...ay=8&year=2007

However one must remember that it can be raining in one area and 100mtrs further on it may not be.

I don't think so - it has been raining over 90% of Spain today - just look at the rain radar pictures. You may be lucky enough to be in the other 10% but the day is not finished yet!

There are currently 55 weather warnings in force.

Only showers forecast here (Altea) - fortunately we have some mountains in the way.

It's been drizzling here since about 12 with some fairly strong winds whilst quite cool.

Bit like UK really
