Hi, as mentioned on the Portugal forum, France introduced such an App some time ago, but apparently its marketing hasn't been very successful. Most "vulnerable" people haven't got a Smartphone, and many others are wary of Big Brother intruding in their private lives.

All well and good, but when i go to playstore and search it doesn't appear. Maybe something to do with the way my Google account is set up.

Did manage to find a direct link to the app in playstore, so i installed it on my phone. You can select english as it's language. However i get a notification, which is in Spanish that complains about power saving mode, blah blah, won't function correctly, blah blah.
Deleted it.....

and you have to have bluetooth on all the time / when you want the app to work, which eats the battery too.

I normally have bt enabled on my phone, so it wasn't that causing the error. I'm not a big phone user so even with bt on it easily lasts me through the day.
