Quite unbelievable
One presumes that this was a new comedy from the entertainment section that somehow managed to slip into the news section.
Martin Evans, drugs baron jailed for 21 years in 2006 is given a three day pass and does not return to prison, he is understood to have fled to Spain.
I just cannot believe that anyone with 16 years of a sentence left would not return.
Have the people running the GB justice system gone totally mad?

Re: Quite unbelievable
if I had the £34m he is rumoured to have stashed away I possibly might not go back either.
so not only giving him a weekend pass they haven't got their hands on his stashed loot.
perhaps he just got lost coming back with the birthday cream cakes for the lads.

Re: Quite unbelievable
Well I for one would certainly not invite this rotten egg (there I've said it) around for tea.

Hang on a minute ......
How do you get jailed for 21 years and then given a 3 day pass after just a few years? Which judge gave him the pass and why?
I always thought a day pass was just for a family funeral. A DAY and not THREE.

Thirty Four million should be enough to pay for a good plastic surgeon, cos thats what he'll need if he's trying to hole up in Spain.
They've continued to round up the most wanted with that TV campaign, can't be too many left out there now.

Next thing you know they'll be sending them off for a free weekend in Majorca to get over their prison depression.
