Quick Banking Help (Which is my Sort Code?)

Okay, so recently opened a bank account and trying to sign in to online banking. However, my Spanish is terrible so could anyone just help me translate which is my sort code/account no. etc. Here is what I have on my registration details:

Identificador: XXXXXXXX
Carpeta: XXXXXXXX
Numeros secretos:
Personal: XXXXXX
Tarjeta L. Abierta: XXXXXXXX

I am completely clueless :lol:

This may help you but not sure
http://familylifeinspain.com/underst...ccount-number/

I bank with Cajamar online but there wording is different to log on I only need 2 things which looking at yours could be

Identificador which is probably numbers but is probably your username

Numeros secretos: which again will be numbers but is a password

As I say wording is slightly different to mine so not certain. I dont think Spanish accounts use Sort codes they have such things as BIC SWIFT and IBAN but that is explained in the link

By the way does your Bank not have information in English online? you can usually select the language which should help

Re: Quick Banking Help (Which is my Sort Code?)

If you have your complete IBAN ?
It tends to be the 6 numbers directly before your account number.
Mine is ES21 = solbank
0081 = the branch
000000 = sort code
0000000000 = account number.

Or so I believe :rofl:

When I sign in my original passport number is used as the identificador, not my choice the banks. Then my password.

Re: Quick Banking Help (Which is my Sort Code?)

I would be surprised if understanding the break down of the 20 digit bank account number helps you sign on - neither of my banks sign on routines uses the actual account information but separate User ID numbers (issued at registration time) or NIE and PINs selected by me
but:
1st 4 digits identify which bank
2nd 4 which branch
next 2 - computer coding for checking
last 10 unique account number

and most banks provide option to use the system in English.

Actually looking at this again this looks like the information for a credit/debit card?

When I sign in my NIE number is used as my identifier / username plus my password
