Question on Mobile
Don't know if anyone can help with this but I bought a used Movistar Motorola mobile and I can'not for the life of me figure out how to set the clock.
Secondly does anyone now the number you dial to get your balance, I thought it was *133 or 133* but niether work

Can't think what phone it is off the top of my head. Go in to menu and click on Phone settings. Scroll down and you should find Clock settings or Date settings. Click on set Clock...
Hope this helps...

If I want to check the balance, I dial *133#

I bought a watch so that solved the time issue.
but *333 or 333* didn't work

Just spend some time going through all the menu options - it'll be under something like phone settings -> language. Cambio Lengua or something.

i will be in Spain next week, can anyone tell me if i take my old mobile and get a Spanish sim card will it work

Thats exactly what I have just done. I actually ordered my SIM online from Telephonica and it was delivered here to my Uk address within 5 days.
I set the phone up and activated it in Faro terminal then made my first call which completed my subscription as we crossed the Guadiana bridge into Spain and the phone picked up a Movistar base station.
The only caveat is that your mobile must be "unlocked" which can be done for £10 in UK but if you buy the SIM over the counter they may throw that in.
