Protests
Is anyone going to switch off tall their electrical goods to night at 8? There seems to be a European wide protest at the carbon emissions given out by the power stations. There are rumours that when everything is switched on again then there will be a power serge. That will cause problems on its own.
Also we hear that there is to be a protest over the increase in charges for the cost of phoning on the mobile, here in Spain. It seems that all the companies are increasing their charges on the same day thus acting like a cartel. The date is the 1st March. On this day they are asking you not to use the mobile all day. Maybe that is impossible for some! |

We switched off our electric supply (it was the 1st of Feb from 19:55 to 20:00) but we were the only ones in Jalon I think. |
