What type of property am i likely to get for 100k UK pounds in any of the major cities in spain?

Well, there's a guide available that lists property prices & trends. It's
called something like the "Kyero" guide - you can google for it.

Taking Barcelona as an example, an average 3-bed property was
625,000 euro in 2005 (sounds rather high?).

The national average for a 1 bed property was about 150,000 euro, but in
Barca this was 215k at the start of the year, but had risen to 305k euro
by december.
On the plus side, Jaen has an average price for a 2-bed of 44,000 euro -
though you may want to ask why it's so low. Not sure if you'd call it a
major city tho'.

Apartments in Oliva Valencia seem cheap
whats it like living there?

Really nice, although I live slightly out of town. The place has a nice atmosphere. Its split down the middle by the main road. On the land side is the old town with lots of narrow streets and white town houses, whilst on the coast side its more modern with apartments a large paseao and shops. Some really nice blue flag beaches there as well, and its only 45 minutes from Valencia Airport. I'd recommend it.

Hi, Have a look at this site www.kyero.com and you can check all areas of spain and there is some fab propertys. hope this helps
