hi, there's loads of historic threads on here re above but any chance of people's updates on pricing & what you think of the service.

I have just looked on ASISA site & the premiums are currently 20% discounted. The price seems v low so just wondering realistically what they cover, also the dr visits are priced between 3-9e so maybe that's where they make their money.

Marina Salut at Denia hospital - anyone contract privately?

Any other insurers (Sanitas, DKV) people use - do they give access to San Carlos or Denia hospitals?

I was looking around earlier this year and to be honest found them all pretty much the same. The slightly dearer ones included unlimited free GP visits and the slightly cheaper ones you pay between 6 to 12 euros per GP visit. Probably amounts to around the same amount over a year.

After recommendations from friends I would have gone with DVK as they seem to be quite on the ball with things. The only reason I didnt was I wanted a pre existing condition covered and none of the private companies would do that.

When we lived in Denia, 13 years ago now, we took out private health insurance through Knights and Perpetuo Soccoro, which has served as well ever since. 13 years later, we’ve cancelled because the premiums got too high and the small print exclusions are no longer suitable.

I would still recommend it to younger people.
