prison officer pension

I heard that prison officers from other eu countries do not pay tax on their pensions if they get them paid into a Spanish bank and are residents of Spain, does anyone know if this is true:)

UK government pensions are not directly taxed in Spain but you have to pay tax on them in the UK.

The rules are about to change and UK government pensions will continue to be taxed in the UK but the amount of the pension will be taken into account to determine the amount of tax you pay in Spain on any other income such as private pensions, the UK state pension and any savings income.

Anyone currently in receipt of a UK government pension can expect a bigger tax bill in Spain from next year.
