Postage to spain
Can anyone advise how long it may take for a letter posted today in the UK to arrive in Spain?

Re: Postage to spain
We have had them arrive within two dys, but also take couple of weeks, so as the saying goes, how long is a piece of string, hopwfully will be the latter.:fingerscrossed:

More often 2 weeks than 2 days. Yet I often get post from Scandinavia which is rarely if ever more than 2 or 3 days. It's a long time ago now, maybe 16 years or more back, when it was said to be common practice for UK mail to be deliberately held iup n Madrid for a couple of weeks every once in a while, something to do with the Gibraltar issue as I recall. Wether or not that was correct or is the case now, I haven't a clue. |
Re: Postage to spain
I had a fairly weighty package - cost £4.22 - posted on 29/10 arrived on 5/11, considering there was a Spanish holiday in the middle quite good
have these regularly and the longest it has taken was 10 days. its a bind knowing there is something you need and that it has been posted and having to sit there and wait. currently awaiting my S1 from Intl Pensions they say it was bulk posted on 31/10............. |

Thanks, I will have to try to be patient and hope it doesn't get lost.

Re: Postage to spain
This is a letter in a standard A6 envelope so hopefully it should get through quickly.

currently awaiting my S1 from Intl Pensions they say it was bulk posted on 31/10............. I am awaiting a cheque from Camelot (lottery people) for the closure of my account which had been dormant, I have no idea how much but suspect £10. The man in customer services assures me he posted it to my Spanish address personally (he has it correct) on the 6th September. Cue Diana Ross. |

Re: Postage to spain
It may have been closed by now but how can I override it, I have tried "expat shield"

I tried expat shield on that holiday last year and they still told me I couldn't play with them - leading me to believe they could see me, so i did a check on cqcounter to find my IP was given as California  so I deleted it and walked away. |
