I wish it was that simple!

CDS is the Costa del Sol.

We are lucky with one of our local vets who seems to ignore all requests for payment from the local animal charity.

I fear he is in the minority however.

Down here we do have a charity that offers assisted neutering for cats and dogs, we took in 2 kittens and paid 10e each towards the cost of having them done and when we took in a stray dog he cost us 30e it is more of a donation than a fee, if you can afford more then pay more. I now take in dogs getting ready for new homes abroad to try and help the charity out, it is sometimes the first time that these dogs have lived in a house, had love on tap and someone who actually cares for them, as one goes onto a new home I get another one and it starts all over again (I would not change it for anything), Keeps the dog I took in last year on his toes as many are often young and keeps him fit running up and down the garden. My other 2 older dogs just look on with disgust and they roll over and go back to sleep. What a life.

Does anyone know if there is assisted neutering in the Seville or Huelva area?

Have a word with your vet or your Town Hall. I know that, having paid over 400 Euros to have my dog speyed, I learned that there is a programme in Seville Province to have gargos speyed - free of charge.

Ah Great. Will do. Not being an animal owner (before this!) I don't even know where the nearest Vet is.
Update. All 4 kittens all doing well. Mother coping well considering how young she is. Not sure the neighbour is happy about what I'm doing but her son's wife (downstairs from her) just gave me some sweets. So I haven't alienated them:-)

Access 'Paginas Amarillos Espana' - put in 'Veterineros' and your nearest town. Most of them have an email address and therefore you can simply ask the question. Maybe access 'Reverso' and translate your question into Spanish - tho' I suspect that your Spanish is more than adequate. Good luck

The mum cat can be spayed now, as she can get pregnant again quite quickly, a friend close to me here, she organisies a vet to come over and they trap the ferals and spay/neuter them...last timethey caught a mum cat with kittens, and also a 9 week old kitten and they were done, (and rehomed, one being with me) some might not agree, but its better than them producing more kittens.. and

they also spay/neuter peoples pet cats at a small charge, but the vet is not over for a few months..

as for the kittens at yours, handle them daily, as they will grow tame and be easy to rehome..
