pool inspection / leak test in Menorca
 

I am in the process of buying a house in Menorca, while living in America. I would like to hire someone to run a leak test on the pool. Can anyone recommend a company to do this? I am new to Menorca, so have very few contacts to ask. Also, I am doing this from America, so can't test the pool myself.

A leak test is simple.

Get someone to;

Mark the water level in the pool.
Fill a bucket and mark the water level.

After a couple of days, if the pool has dropped more than the bucket, then you have a leak.

Now, where's the leak? It's normally around any of the exit/entrances like skimmers, waste or robot pipe.

Probably of no help to the the OP but from my experience most pools leak, it's just to what degree they leak.

The bucket test is good and cheap if you have a large leak you will notice it within a day or 2, you should try and get the bucket lip as close to the top of the pool water as possible as if there is a high lip you loose the efect that wind can have on water levels which is a great deal
