Police certificate from Spain
 

Hi Everyone,

I recently stumbled upon this thread regarding police certificate from Spain

I am in same situation as well. I worked in Spain for 2 years and now I am in Canada. I need this certificate to apply for PR but so far all the attempts have failed.

I have tried mailing the application as written on police website but they replied that non Spanish nationals cannot get the certificate via mail. The Spanish consulate in Montreal says that I cannot give someone authority to pick up my certificate because that method is only for Spanish nationals too. It needs DNI while I have NIE.

Wondering if anyone can please advice. Specially cappuccino from that old thread. Please tell me if your friend got the certificate without going to Spain :(
