Plumbing jobs in Costa Del Sol area
My husband and I are seriously planning on moving to the Costa Del Sol region and wondered if anyone could help us by suggesting where we might find a plumbing job (job agencies, newspapers, etc).
Any help would be much appreciated.
Alternatively, if anyone needs an experienced plumber then I know just the man, lol.
Thanks for reading.

If you look in the free english newspapers avaliable on the costa del sol you will find many ads placed by desperate Brit experienced plumbers touting for work.
That should tell you something.

What you also need to know is that, unlike the UK, Spanish plumbing is a law unto itself. Its not the same in anyway to British plumbing, in fact from my limited experience, its not even the same from house to house. I've had problems with the plumbing in two houses that I've lived in over here and even the Spanish plumbers have to scratch their heads for a while lol
However, I'm sure that once you know the principles, it wouldnt be hard to work things out, but initially expect the unexpected - thats if you are able to find work. The problem here at the moment, especially if you're self employed is knowing when the next job will come from, you may be lucky and get a couple of jobs - but then what??. There are an awful lot of unemployed plumbers to compete with too. The building and construction industry over here is on its knees, therefore, related jobs are in short supply
