Default Placing English teenagers in Spanish state schools

To those of you who have placed their TEENAGE children in the Spanish state school system, could you please give me an idea of how difficult/challenging it was for your kids? Does the Spanish education system make any particular allowances for foreign children who speak little or no Spanish or are they literally thrown in the deep end? If you had your time again, would you have placed them in an International school? Please email me privately if you wish to do so. Thank you in advance.

Hi Moi,
Take a look at this thread (Page 4. I think of Spain 7 down, Childrens Schooling in Spain), I asked a similar questions. There are a few answers that may be of use.
