Default Places to avoid when buying property in Spain

I am sure that there are places to avoid when wanting to buy a property in Spain. Like for instance areas where is a large concentration of chav, lager louts from northern england and places that have so many english expats that they look like a northern english housing estate. Such places to avoid are places like Benidorm, Torrevieja, Villa Martin, Camposol Urbanisation near mazzaron.

Can you think of any other places that you would avoid like the plague when buying in Spain and please give your reason why you would not buy there, thankyou for your replies.

Please let me know where you are going to settle and I will be able to give a reasoned reply based on fuller information

I would avoid the place where you decide to settle, because you seem a right plonker.

Just for clarity's sake and so that we can narrow it down a bit for you, you understand, you wouldn't mind living alongside the ones from Southern England then?

you might want to avoid them but clearly a huge number of brits don't............ or they wouldn't be so many of them there

everyone is different - what might be a nightmare to you would be heaven to others & vice versa

so mauch depends upon what you want from life - a lot of Brits want Blackpool with better weather, and the thought of living in a white village, for instance, would scare them to death

and in all honesty, at an advanced age, many would be better off in an area with a large concentration of Brits - after all, the older you get, the harder it gets to learn a new language, the more likely you are to need medical care on your doorstep, as well as entertainment - so a place like Camposol would be perfect for so many - & certainly safer in the long term than a casa in the campo up a dirt track on the side of a mountain

I thought chavs were primarily from Southern England

Isn't it short for Chatham?

Well I had noticed that the Old North South English divide had come back with a vengeance as a result of the financial crisis but I think you are taking it a bit far with the above. Maybe you would care to put a bit of thought into what you write before doing so and insulting other members of the forum.

I have given thought before this reply and totally agree with JLFS comment in post 3

You are posting threads and then seemingly ignoring them, so may I suggest you actually participate in them rather than do that.

To be honest I think Mitzy has the mark of this person, I think they are just posting these posts to get the reaction. Seems to have been a few of these since that guy got very upset that had the internet bride and wanted Europe to give them the high life for free! I wonder if there is any connection?
