Anybody know the number for fuengirola police station.
i want to phone to make a appointment to get my daughters nie number
I forgot to make a note of it(on the board outside),when i was there, i need the british one for english speaking people. moving next month.

Can you make appointments there? Most places you have to queue.

yes when i got mine last month, you go in queue up to get appointment. Then you have to go back in about 2/3weeks time then queue again to get it. But there is a number outside police station that you can phone and come on a certain day and queue. could kick myself for not making a note of the number.

Didn't know you could make appointments as you suggest, I am not saying you are wrong as it has been over a year since I was last there but are you sure you didn't misunderstand?

Generally an early start is a good way around the waiting. :ohmy:

when i got mine nie last month,i queued for a while (and was told to come back )to make a appointment to come back another day and then queue again. But i know someone got theirs the week before me and just queued once. Who knows? As long as i get one i am not bothered. Daughter needs hers as she is starting college and has to have one

Generally if you are there early you only need to queue once, they only give out XXX numbers each day so if you are too late for a number you will hang around to see if there is time to attend to you... after those with numbers are attended to, if not then you have to come back. As I mentioned, the way around this is to get there very early. :D

we are due to get ours done when we go over in Jan. Our agent has told us to get there by 8.30-8.45 in the morning at the latest, and be prepared to queue!

A year ago I went at about 8.35 ish, and just ended up getting a number, maybe there are less people queuing now but if I had to go again I would get there for 8.15 :huh:

The sooner you get there, the lower your number and the sooner you get away. :D
