Can anyone recommend where to get pet insurance in Spain? The cover i have in the UK does not cover my dog in Spain

Are you sure you need it? Our cat recently hurt its leg. One emergency out-of-hours appointment later, one injection, a follow-up appointment and then another injection cost a whopping... 15 euros all-in.

When we had PetPlan back in the UK the excess was much more than this!

MAPFRE do pet insurance that covers vets bills. Most other pet insurance plans here are for third party liability cover only.

we use Mapfre, 66 euros a year. not huge amount of cover but better than nothing in a real emergency when you might not have funds to cover larger vet bills!

The only one I have heard of here is Petplan , found them very expensive.
The Vet's over here are really cheap anyway whenever your Pet need's treatment.We have two cat's, we have n't bothered, saved well in the region of 1,000 euros.
So at least we have a bit put away if something does happen.
