I understand there will be a meteor shower as from late tonight. Will they be viewable from Spain?

Hi, we were out between 1:30 and 2:30 am and saw a few, the smoke on the horizon from Portugal blocked some of the viewing, the shower should be around the next couple of days though. That 19:30-22:00 time was for last years event, 2am was this years.

You have to look North-East. They are really fast....blink and you miss them!
They are supposed to come at the rate of about one per minute. I saw a few, but not quite one per minute.

Lots of showers all night long, here in N.England, though not of meteorites unfortunately.
Still precipitating quite heavily now and more to come.
Well it did rain on St Swithin's day, should keep the farmers happy though.
I recall watching the meteor showers back in the Canaries.
Great place to watch them, as the air out there is so clear, hence the major observatory sites.
