Pensions

Is it better to have state pensions paid direct into a Spanish bank? I've been told that DWP get a better exchange rate than I can. Are there any snags?
Thanks.

Much better, and yes, they get a better exchange rate, and there are no charges. No snags at all.

It is hassle free and good exchange rate. Obviously there will be people who will make a few more pennies because they are happy to do transfers when the rate is higher and will bide their time but unless you enjoy this sort of thing you are better off having it transferred direct.
