hi, let me introduce myself,
i am a 53 year old fireman living in manchester uk,
can retire next year and considering moving to tenerife.
would love to e mail , on a regular basis, someone who lives
in tenerife.
loads of questions to ask and it would seem the easiest way, rather
than numerous questions via the forums

Interesting approach; I can see the theory, the only downsides being (a) how will you know you've picked the 'right' person and (b) leaving it open you might hit upon a really enlightening comment from someone who just 'happens by' your thread. Other than that, good luck.
