Parking in Valencia

Does anybody know how long a automobile can stay stationary in Valencia? The auto is insured, up to date in everything else and is in a white lined area (free).

In France every 7 days it must be moved so was wondering if the same applies here.
Gracias...

I don't know the answer but I would imagine that if the police saw it in one position for month after month they might treat it as abandoned and have it removed especially if it has UK plates.

The law (11/1999) says 30 days, but then each town's ordenanza de movilidad can modify that, e.g. Madrid's is five working days.

You'd need to check your town's ordenanza or ask the town hall to be sure.

Then why answer??? FYI the vehicle is Spanish, owned by a native Spaniard - my roommate who normally takes it to go to work but as he is a teacher and school is finished, it has been sitting there for a few days longer than normal and he doesn't know so I thought I would ask for him.

Only a brit would have UK plates and I am far from that, actually celebrating today being rid of the queenie on our shores

Members all try to help in any way that they can and if you do not like their reply it is politer to ignore their post, there is absolutely no need to be rude.

None of us know others circumstances so responses can vary a lot in order to cover all bases.
