Some new parking signs have appeared in our area. I thought it would be easy to get a definitive answer, on line, as to their exact meaning but it has proved harder than I thought. Can anyone suggest a web site?

There is a sign (adjacent to a corner) - blue circle, red slash. These signs normally have white arrows to indicate in which direction parking is prohibited (left, right, or both sides) but this has no arrows. Does this mean no parking immediately in front of the sign or what?
