Padron and residency document
Hi, Just a quick question,
If you move to a different address within the same district / area do you have to change your address on your Padron certificate and residency document each time you move?
Thanks,
Steve

You should do as the authorities use this information to locate you when they need to (for whatever reason).

No address on our residency document!

There is a specific box to tick on the application form for any address change.
There isn't an address on your driving licence but you still have to advise Trafico of a change of address.
If they don't know where you live, they won't be able to throw you out after Brexit!

Re: Padron and residency document
Before I make a possible wasted journey to the town hall to change my address on the Padron what documents do I need to take with me?
I assume : rental contract, old Padron, NIE and passport (plus copies)
Thanks
Steve

Might be different in your area from that in the link given which is incidentally the same page as in the signature line of the poster.

Apparently a link to official translated information is considered an advertisement on this forum. Cross your fingers and hope it might work what others assume. So it is not really about helping others, is it?
