So sad to hear this, he was one of my favorite guitarists and saw him live many years ago in a theatre in Hounslow and he was amazing. A great loss.

Yep. I always thought of Paco de Lucia as the greatest living guitarist
I am listening to him now
I saw him in the Castillo Sohail in Fuengirola in 2010. Amazing and (unfortunatley) now unrepeatable. My wife has seen him maybe 10 times.
I am not sure if there will ever be anybody as good at guitar and then interpreting and pushing the boundaries of flamenco. As he himself said, he had to give up his entire life from the age of 3 to get that good.
