Sorry, but in terms of internet presence, websites even email...Spain has yet to enter the 21st Century! They are giving free Spanish lessons at Fuengirola Town Hall for foreigners to help them integrate, but if you are European you are not eligable. WTF is going on there then? |

LOL. I just carried out a quick tally and I've sent 24 emails to various Spanish organisations (businesses, Ayuntamientos, the Guardia & newspapers) since the beginning of Nov 2009.
I've received replies to 2  |

I've received replies to 2  I find the websites of the big organisations and councils in Spain to be very good e.g. the Barcelona council site http://www.bcn.cat/ the Benalmadena sports centre site http://www.pdmbenalmadena.es/pdm/ Property sites such as idealista, fotocasa and segundamano are excellent However, there are only very basic websites for shops. I think this is down to 2 things. Many shops are independent and family run so dont have the investment to set up and maintain a website and many Spanish people will not buy online due to lack of trust (and Spaniards are not as price sensitive as the Brits!). |
