I'm applying online for the Tarjeta Sanitaria Europa (TSE card) - the equivalent of an EHIC. Has anyone done this easily before?

It all seems straightforward until this question as part of the form online

"Domicilio del titular del derecho (trabajador o pensionista residente fuera de España)"
which translates to "Address of the holder of the right (worker or pensioner resident outside Spain)"
It asks for country and address. The form had already asked me for my address in Spain.

This slightly confused me with saying "resident outside Spain".

Is it asking where you're travelling to in Europe for cover of the TSE? or something else? It didn't make total sense to me. It might just be me, but I thought I'd see if anyone else has been through the process.

Surely that is to cover the situation where a Spaniard is residing outside of Spain - this does not apply to you just ignore or enter No. PS Somewhat surprised you can apply for the TSE online (as against renewal) as I would have thought they would want to see original papers.

Thanks. I agree, would've ignored but it's got a star as an obligatory field - can't go forward without answering it

Yes done it twice ( renewal ) and received it in the post without any problem. I don't recall this question maybe you can just repeat your Spanish address.

I tried repeating my Spanish address but it wasn't an option on the list of countries on the drop down list.
