if you have not receieved the new card yet then contact sky (your or frined in the uk etc) and let them know. they will cancel the "missing" white card, cancel the on screen messages for your exisitng blue card, and add your name to one of the "sweep ups" at the end of the process.

Ive just emailed the spanish shop (who have these agents that change addresses) and she said the addess in the uk is correct and there maybe a backlog. I cannot contact sky directly as I dont have all the details they may ask for, this agent has it all.

This agent is always charging me 25gbp whenever I need something doing and in the long run may be easier to order my own card. Can this be done from a uk landline to my parents address(who dont have sky)?
Does anyone know if I can use the internet phone in spain to contact sky? I have assigned it to a Newcastle number and if anyone wants to ring me on there they just have to phone 0191 ....... etc?

Have a search, there have been a million Sky threads discussing this before.

you may also end up payign for the privalage of them sending you a new card - some companies i know have been charging 80euros plus for the company to supply them with their free replacement subscription card!

As you say, if you do not want to have a "yearly maintenacen fee" or pay each time you need to contact sky, get a card organised by yourslef at a uk address you own / control. And dont forget to cancel the exisitng DD!!!!

I always use my VOIP software to call Sky for free. Check for the latest landline number on www.saynoto0870.com.

Existing DD - more than likely "Continuous Payment" which is very hard to cancel.
