One year on!!
 

I can't believe it - we have been here a whole year now! Nothing went according to plan and in the middle of last year thought we would have to call it quits and go back to England. It wouldn't have mattered too much as we were looking on the whole experience as an adventure and a chance to spend some quality time with each other.

Now I have found work and we have moved to a different area and the start of another big adventure for this year. Just need to get OH sorted with work but things are looking up on that front too.

Wouldn't have missed last year for the world even with all its and ups and downs:thumbsup:

Are you skivving already or do you work good hours?

Hope you first day went well for you and glad that there is hopefully something on the horizon for your OH.

Hi SueG good for you,I'm sure many find the first year a bit daunting,a lot to establish ,finding were you would like to settle,work ect. so pleased you have rode the storm and are now feeling more settled,I do hope the new job goes well for you and that your O/H can soon settle into some sort of work.

Who me skivving - whatever can you mean??!!:D Wonderful hours at the moment 10 until 3 but with a brand new office and people not knowing where you are it's just a little bit quiet. OH out as we speak doing leaflet drop:thumbsup:

Congratulations on making it through. Ive been in Spain 9 months now and feel addicted to the place :) Well done for being persistant and making it work!

Hi Sue, there is another forum which I read that just deals with san fulgencio area, Guardamar, la marina, santa pola ect will pm you the address if you want.. It is by no means as busy as this site but you may find it usefull. Hubby could see if he could get any work from it?/ Or you can just find out whats going off in that area..

That would be brilliant Jean if you don't mind. We have taken a three month let in Quesada for the time being but I don't think it's really us so another site to have a look at would be wonderful. Many thanks, Sue:thumbsup:

I do hope so - I am surrounding myself with positive vibes this year - all I now need is to come into a windfall from the heavens so that I can buy a property out here:D
