Default One day renew NIE

Hi

I've been told that i can renew my NIE in one day in torremolinos as I need it for a new job but mine is out of date.

I know that they don't date them anymore but I live in Fuengirola and don't want to go to torremolinos if they can't do it there.

Does anyone know if this is true that 1. I can get it in one day, and,
2. Get it from torremolinos, when I live in Fuengirola???

Thank in advance

Tommy

If you are wanting to renew your WHITE NIE certificate (because the number doesn't change), then really I suspect you should be signing on the list of foreigners and getting the GREEN form (aka 'residencia').

You probably mean your residence certificate as the NIE is a permanent number . Suspect you will need to get an appointment online as it needs to be done in the Police Extranjeros department.
Worth your while checking in the Tourism Office . The address and telephone number are at the bottom of the link :Ayuntamiento de Fuengirola
Can also try this office in Fuengirola:
Av. Condes San Isidro, 98
29640 – Fuengirola
(Málaga)
Tel.: 952198360
Tel.: 952198358
(Horario: De lunes a viernes de 9.00 a 14.00)
