Now TV

Hi,

Does Now TV box work in Spain via Telefonica ISP or must I use a VPN?

Many Thanks, Bob

Re: Now TV

You need a Smart DNS or a VPN to get the geo restricted content such as BBC iPlayer etc. You cannot change the settings in the box so the DNS or VPN must be in the router.

Actually, you can now use NOW TV without a VPN, for most of the content.
New EU rules, mean you can use Now TV, and Sky Go in other EU countries without a VPN or DNS service.
However, there are time limits...37 days before the device needs to reconnect from a UK IP address.
All Sky users got an email about this over the weekend...

But some content, is still geo blocked, like iPlayer, which is not covered by the new rules, which only apply to paid services.

Thanks both. I was mainly interested in accessing the Now TV entertainment channels.

The box and subscription is inexpensive. I guess I will have to suck it and see what channels are available.
