Not A Scooby
Hi
I an after some advice. I have been on the same tariff for my electric since 2005!!!!! I have just signed up to the online endessa and note i can change my tariff. What are you guys all on, electricty wise? I rent out so it used in summer and i have no control, when they use and in the winter we are there and have the heaters on. Any suggestions. Also it trips alot. If i up something will it trip less? |
Re: Not A Scooby
Have a look at your bill and see what Potencia you are on. I have a 3 bed apartment on Las Encinas and mine was set at 5.3 I think. Many were set on a high potencia when we bought.
I had mine reduced to 4.6. It has made a difference to the bills as I believe it changes the unit price ADA are our Admin company and Anya changed mine on line |
Re: Not A Scooby
If it is tripping frequently then you need to upgrade the contracted potencia. This will increase the monthly standing charge, but it does NOT increase the unit price.
Upgrading the potencia is a simple process unless they ask you for a recent "bolletin" which shows just what the installation in the house is capable of handling. If so, you would need to get an electrician to inspect it and prepare a new bolletin - that could cost a bit. |

Re: Not A Scooby
We had ADA change ours after Guesswork told us about his reduction:thumbup:. We were on 6.9KW but now we are on 4.6KW. All ADA needed was a copy of our latest bill and they did it over the phone for us.

Re: Not A Scooby
I know I'll kick myself after asking this, but what does 'not a Scooby' mean, looks like I've been out of the UK too long!
Thanks Jon |

Stephie graaf = laugh. Just a guess. I only know the basic ones I'm afraid. Left the UK a longtime ago and speak French daily, with 'the trouble' so the brain is wearing out. Funnily I speak more English when in Spain, than anywhere else. That's not a porky! Thanks Jon BTW 'what a difference a typo makes' if the third letter in your rhyming slang was another vowel I could be A dog owner Planning taxidermy (the least bad option!!!) Or something totally inappropriate (for this forum anyway) ;). |
Re: Not A Scooby
I've been watching back episodes of Morgana Robinson 'The Agency' BBC 2, this morning. And also some other BBC comedies. Not deleting the MR episodes, as I reckon I'll have another good laugh later even second time around.
Her Danny Dyer (sp) cracks me up! And I'm hearing some great rhyming slang!! Great show!! All the other characters get a big thumbs up too! If you haven't seen it yet - check it out Jon PS sad to see Stephen Fry off QI |
