Non resident tax query - Apartment & Parking
 

Hi,
This question is aimed at anyone who completes & files their own non-resident tax return in Spain (modelo 210)......Do you need to file a 210 tax return form for each part of your property if it has its own catastral reference? ...or can you lump them together on the main one?

We have an apartment and 2 parking spaces, each with it's own catastral and ibi reference. We have 3 separate ibi bills and this year our non resident tax is due for 2016. Separate tax forms would result in 6 forms being handed to the bank, with some payments as low as €5.

We have an apartment with a garage space and a separate store room and in true Spanish fashion they are all numbered differently!
We get our lawyer to complete and pay our 210's and he only prepares one for each of us.

UPDATE.....

"If you own a garage and/or storeroom with different catastral references you must submit a separate tax return in respect of each one"

Looks like it's 6 forms that we have to print out and hand in to the bank!

The tax works out at €59 for each of us, €118 in total for 2016 and I suspect that the lawyer would charge nearly as much again for completing the forms.

Looks like I shall have to check with my lawyer as I have three cadastral refs. but he only completes one 210 for each of us.
