Hiya

Does Spain have a brand on non-alcoholic wine (NOT for me I might add!)........just in case you are thinking of inviting me round !

If there is - do they sell it at the supermercado at the Plaza ?

i had found a link that it was not about wine without alcohol but it was good. I couldnt attached it and im trying again, i dont know if it will work

Thanks Marisol, I won't feel so bad now having my alcoholic wine whilst my friend can have the vino sin alcohol.

Many but I doubt you will find any in the Plaza or for that possibly Ayamonte.

You can buy online at http://www.bebidasin.com.

There ar other companies but this one is in both Spanish and English, you can use a UK card etc etc

To find others type vino desalcoholizado or vino sin alcohol into google.es

Hi Mel, non-alcoholic wine is readily available in Mercadona at the Plaza. It is in the isle with biscuits and fruit juices and is called Castillo de Salobrena. Regards Bryony.

Whatever the PR spin Castillo de Salobreña is NOT a wine but a "Base de mosto de uvas de vino y manzana."

Anyone thinking they are buying a dealcoholised Wine or a Vino sin alcohol will be bitterly disappointed.

Mercadona, like the others, tend to stock it or similar products next to fruit juices and well away from the booze for very good legal, factual and social reasons.

I stand to be corrected but the links Marisol and I have posted are currently the only realistic and cost effective options open to anyone wishing to purchase dealcoholised Wine around here.

Hi teetotals, went to the new supermarket in the shopping centre at Tavira, and noticed they had a selection of non alcoholic wine on display. URGH! Regards teflon.
