as each year goes by we get closer to the Rivers of Blood promised by Enoch, just his dream was a little bit skewed as to race\colour.
It will come, and then the imams will still be running around wringing hands and saying such actions are not those of good muslims. So why are they knowingly condoning it within their community. Fence sitting R US ?

I read a lot of forums and yes I know the people on forums are of a certain type and quite often mouth off but would not say boo to a goose in real life, but if much of what is being preached on these forums is correct your post could be a lot closer than we realise. There appears to be so much unrest, most of it created by the last government pussy footing around not upsetting other races, religions etc but at the same time not giving a toss about what other people think then we could see idiots such as UKIP and BNP gaining some kind of foothold within mainstream politics. I shudder to think what could happen if that occurred.
I have always been a live and let live person but some of what I am reading now makes me so angry.

Graham, I don't think it will necessarily be the likes of us and our generation but if you remember back to how you felt about things 30-40 years ago. That is where I see the violence coming from.
From my association with a small number of Pakistani muslims of similar age the same goes for them.
they may even have more hot heads than the christians - which is what it will come down to. The St George's Cross doesnt help, but then I know one house with wrought iron gates where the Pakistani flag star and crescent has been incorporated.

I have never, and would never, vote for the BNP etc, but.......
there are some things where I feel they have some potential. Its the more extreme ideas and the manner in which they wish to promote it I cannot accept.

Yesterday I spent lunch with a Lithuanian friend, he is very strongly against the local asian community. Told me a few things from his experiences I had suspected but he confirmed.
I then walked through a part of town where a number of new shops\businesses have sprung up. All asian. All with men hanging around outside, gave me a creepy feeling of mistrust. Should I get that feeling? Why would I get that feeling.? I am probably paranoid - but I never got that feeling in Cape Town's Sector 6 at the height of apartheid or the downtown parts of Singapore in the 60's and 70's.

I get that feeling when a bearded one is sat close to me on the underground. I often wonder if other people feel the same.

I am not a member of anything but I could not stand by in a street and watch them burning poppies...would probably be me who got arrested:unsure:

carry a dummy koran in your pocket and add it to the fire ?

every time such instances occur and are photographed for the press without any legal action being taken or penny ante fines levied then that is another hole in the armour.

although the burning of a national flag can be an unlawful act, probably the burning of a poppy or two is not. However, because of the raw nerves of such an action would be deemed as anti-social behaviour and incitement to something or other.

however, I would suggest not going to the "home" country of these fine upstanding "Brits" (who usually have at least 2 passports, sometimes in different names) and carrying out similar actions. Death by riot isnt a nice thing.

If you react, you give them power.

I watched an interview with the Israeli defence minister today, I think it was on the BBC news channel. The interviewer was quite timid but then asked how prepared the Israelis were to start bombing Iran.

I remember the reply, 'More prepared with every day that passes.'

It's a thorny subject, but if I was living in Israel and knew that a country only a short distance away was preparing to wipe my country off the map I might consider it right to get in first.

(I'm not pro-war and hope it doesn't happen).

I can understand that, but if you agree to that mentality, then it's OK for Iran to have the bomb as a defence against Western aggression.

Of course, had Israel integrated with the palestinians that were occupying the land before they arrived there post WW2, and treated them justly, that would most likely have preempted and prevented Iran being such a threat.

A mixed arab/jew population wouldn't have been half the problem it is seen as.

Well, Israel shouldnt exist, it is a Western colony to pacifiy the Jews due to the West feeling guilty about Hitler trying to exterminate them.

Not the fault of the Palestinians or other Arabs of course who have been displaced and seen their land given over to foreigners. Israel is the 52nd State of America, they work hand-in-hand.

Anyway, the last 500 years has been one long history of Europeans invading foreign land and claiming ownership. The US and Israel are just carrying on this backwards tradition.

Yeah, shame they were ever allowed to go back and disrupt the area like they did.

There were people there before the Israelis wandered out of Egypt. Their descendants could be said to have more entitlement to the land.

What's next? Throw the Anglo Saxons out of the UK and give it back to the Celts?
