Fred will know, but I assume you would only be able to apply from Spain, as you would get all sorts of strange people applying to gain god knows what with a Spanish resident certificate, if you get the jist.

Ah ok then, so if we can all ask questions about events to occur in the distant future, can I please ask this:

Could anyone please advise me if there will be any advantages in applying now for my great great great grandchildren´s residency permits on the moon in order to avoid the rush in 200 years' time? And can I do it from here in Spain or will have to go in person?

There's an English leaflet produced by the Spanish government. You can find it here: http://www.spaingestor.com/nie-residencia-spain.html

It outlines the introduction and applying for the new Certificate.

I am struggling to find where to download the EX16 form - can someone help me please? (It may be that my brain has come to a grinding halt since living here and not having to go to work everyday!)
