New driving license required?
Apologies if this has been raised before, but a friend has emailed me this information:-
"You will have learnt from the news that foreigners, residents in Spain for more than two years, will have to replace their driving licence of permanent validity before 19th January, 2015 into an unified model of a single European Driving Licence, (Directive 2006/126/EEC)."
Have I missed this? Or perhaps I don't keep abreast of things as I should!
Thanks.

If you have the 'new' style licence with the credit card sized part, then this is OK and you don't have to do anything 'till it expires (maximum of 10 years).
