I know this isn't about the Esuri restaurant but connected through the owners. Has anyone tried the Fish and Chips yet?

Yes, not since the new opening but when it has been on Gavins menu at the Bistro Kath has chosen it and always said it was just as good as Harry Ramsdens original shop outside Leeds.

Now the best news of all the new club opens today at lunchtime, only the terrace bar and a limited menu but it is a start!! The best news for Esuri snce the downturn and further consolidaton of the improving situation in our corner of Spain.

We had a look @ the menu last night just to be nosy, can't see the point of going a couple of thousand miles for fish & chips. The cornish pasty & chips was 6.95 euros seems a little pricy to me

Wow, you can get a menu of the day and half a bottle of wine in most of the Spanish restaurants for less than that.

Had a look in the new bar on Esuri yesterday, the views are great over the golf course, will be fantastic in the summer months, they have worked hard putting it all together and it will be a great success am sure.

Esuri is very busy with lots more people about, and the golf course is booming, not seen so many playing on both courses.

The banks seem to be working overtime showing people around the empty appts, and it seems to be working lots more now occupied.

Anyway go to go the sun is out and the beer is cold, must go and enjoy it.

Ken.

Hey for those of us who live here it will be a real treat once in a while to pop out for Friday evening fish and chips just like we used to do back in the old days. Now the best bit is that we can have a ten minute walk to a super Indian meal right on our doorstep. Not fair on you at Canela though.

Yes we have 2 menu del dia places one in Portugal one in Spain both about 3k from home bread and olives, soup or salad, meat or fish main, sweet, drink (water, beer or wine) and coffee €7.50. Not quite as good a price as yours but super quality and value. We have worked out that if it is just the 2 of us buying the makings and cooking and washing up it is almost cheaper to eat out and when we are busy working at the house it saves time in preparation too.

Totally agree, left UK many moons ago and like to eat a variation of Spanish, oriental and other cuisines. Its great that we have the choice, otherwise life would just be boring.;)
