NetNanny, Ayuntamiento-style
I was working in my local internet room this morning(faster than at home though a great deal louder) & wanting to google Rise in Adult Obesity UK since 1990; Only to find it kept going to a 'you can't access this because we think there may be some content you shouldn't be allowed to get to' type message. You can fill in an online form & theoretically they'll see if they can unblock it but it's never worked before with sites that might just possibly have reference to homosexuality or any lewd stuff - eg when I try to click on quite a lot of the links from posts on BE
Anyhow, I tried various other versions & it turned out it was (maybe not surprisingly) the word 'adult'. Well if you don't put adult you end up with children's obesity, let me tell you! you try googling 'rise in not-children obesity' or rise in grownup obesity' or any such, google near enough giggles!
Is there a way round it? Church, State, PC - pfft
