Anyone else using it over here? We have a DNS Unblocker which has worked fine but since last night we can only access old shows which we have previously watched like Breaking Bad not new ones and not movies.

Now I initially thought Netflix had blocked our DNS but surely that would mean we wouldn't be able to access Netflix at all.

Would change to Netflix Spain but they do t have the new House of Cards.

Netflix is clamping down on VPNs and SmartDNS services used to access parts of their site that are not meant to be access from your country.


It may be that your "old shows" are part of the Netflix Spain package, which is what you are being redirected to...

I understand why netflix do it, but it's a flaw in a way.

If you're in a country which doesn't speak your own language, you're very limited to what you can watch in that language. Unless I'm missing something, there's no way to choose subtitles or dubbing unless the subtitles are there by default.

Netflx Nepal has loads of films in english (possibly not the latest films and series, I'm too out of touch to be able to tell) but very few in other european languages.

I still like watching films and series in spanish, it's a way of not getting too rusty with the language, but if I want to do it here, netflix isn't the answer.

YOur Netflix UK account will work in Spain, but you will not be offered the whole of the UK catalogue. Only those programmes that they have the rights to for Spain.

Well that's that then. Bye bye Netflix. It's the new series I am interested in which are not on Netflix Spain. So much for an integrated Europe.
