I must stress that when I said no-one else in my branch of Caja Granada speaks English that it is only a tiny branch in a village and there are only ever two staff work in it. I'm sure there are English-speaking staff in larger branches.

I've heard several people complaining about Solbank charges, for free banking you need to have €750 a month paid into your a/c & have three DD's which most people can manage.
On top of that they give you a 3% rebate each month on your DD's up to €20 which in my opinion equates to a good deal.
