You mean you have a choice?! I don't think there's an Indian within 100 miles of where I live. I feel really jealous :)
Lucky you. Enjoy it! |
Re: Need a quick answer!
Its a reasonable drive but theres a good Indian in Los Alcazres, The Roti Tandoori, in the new precinct.

Thank you. The last Indian I had in Spain was in Sevilla, funny little place about 8 tables more like a garage conversion, anyway, Im one of these people that cant eat in the evening with out some kind of Alcohol, and i could not beleve the city with the most bars / nightlife / and most pissheads ive seen in all my time in Spain, bar Bilbao, this place dont have Alcohol, I had to explain my problem and he made a exception so I could nip out and buy some takeway cans from another bar, I didnt mind this but a Spanish bird in there had the right hump watching me drink and she couldnt and her Husband wouldnt let her. Amazing experience, I can assure you a Indian Restuarant with that attitude in the UK wouldnt last 5 nights |
Re: Need a quick answer!
well we ended up going to an Indian just b4 u get into torreveija, and it was bloody lovely(Gateway to India).Even our 11 yr old son loved it! From there we popped in to the town and on to this fairground ride where u have to hold on to this Bull (not good just after u have eaten!) But anyway we had a good time and decided we would go there again. Thanks for the replies anyway.

Re: Need a quick answer!
There is a great Indian in Quesada. Go through the arches, and continue up the hill. On the left handside at the brow od the hill is an Indian.
It has 2 kitchens, one for veggie, and one for meat. I spoke to the owner when we were there in feb. she told us that no meat products enter the veggie kitchen. I can recommend it highly. |

Re: Need a quick answer!
I've been to one in Albir that was quite good, but I don't remember the name, it certainly wasn't on the N322.
I think Himalaya is pretty dreadful really. The food isn't great and the place, sadly, has the ambience of a bowling alley! |

You should come up our way, Villajoyosa has a great one on the seafront, and theres another in Albir called the House Of India by the medieval castle on the old Benidorm/Albir road.

Re: Need a quick answer!
Follow the main road into torrevieja, just past Mercadona on the right you will see some shops that sit back inlike an Urbanisation area, oyu have to drive to next roundabout turn right then right again which takes you into that road where there are a few shops and also another Indian called Ganges or something like that, just a few shops up from there Sue you will see Gateway to India.I f you do go there let us know what you think.Making myself hungry now!!!
Enjoy! |
