Hi, I'm planning a trip to Marbella next month. I'm going to rent an apartment for a few weeks so that I can research and decide where to rent long term in the future.

The things I need to research for the future are:

Places I could rent an affordable long-term apartment with a spare room to see clients.

A great internet connection for my online clients

Somewhere with public transport - as I don't drive

Somewhere where I will have access to English speaking people as clients.

And of course friends :-)

So basically I’m trying to decide the best place to stay next month which will give me easy access to explore suitable areas for these future requirements.

Any advice on places to stay would be so appreciated?

To get a great Internet connection you need to stay in an urban environment, also for more frequent buses. Have a look at Nueva Andalucia. Will be slightly cheaper than Marbella itself, lots of Brits, even an Iceland.Bit further out but also great is San Pedro.
