Hi there, we've just bought a car from 'Specialist Vehicles' based in a Murcia. We were recommended to use them by the estate agent we bought our villa from. From the initial email to taking delivery all I can say is it was a pleasure to deal with them. If you need anymore info let me know & I can message you as it would take too long to tell you on here. Basically my hubby told 'David' what car we wanted, as we live in Uk we instructed David to source it for us, we even trusted him to go get the car from Germany, drive it to Spain, keep it for us & he then met us from our flight into Alicante to give us our car! Can't believe we did that- bought a car without even seeing it! To say we are delighted is an understatement! They do all the paperwork fir you, it was perfectly done too, he even got us an English Manual as it was in German, even advised on insurance companies. Very Happy. Good luck

Sounds interesting, Can you pm me the full details of the Co in Murcia or post them here? I'm looking to change shortly and there is a mega difference in prices between German and Spanish used cars.

Hi, their website is Specialist Vehicles - Used Cars in San Javier, Murcia (Costa Blanca, Spain) tel: 968 146158 or 618628511. We dealt with David Bazley who was excellent & when we met at the airport we just knew we had done the right thing. He's a really nice guy & spent ages with us going through how the car worked etc, we were parked ages in front of the airport we thought the Guardia Civil would tell us off! If you do make contact tell him Maggie & Barry recommended you, I know he will look after you. Hope you find something you like.

Also he recommended Abbeygate Insurance & Liberty Seguros. We chose Liberty as it was the cheapest for us & also because there was an agent local to us who will deal with any claims on our behalf. We paid 500euros fully comp any driver, it was their most expensive policy with absolutely everything included, we could have chosen a cheaper policy for about 350, but as this is a first for us we decided to go for a policy that covered everything then see what next year brings. I am with IBEX and have their full package 600 on a 2 Ltr suv 12K car any driver etc and full international cover.
I will contact them in few weeks and see what they offer.

My wife and I are named but I remember the agent saying that when it came to selling the car another driver would be covered automatically to test drive etc... I have never really thought about it. I will renew in July and make a point of asking. Policy will reduce because value of the car will be lower too.
