UK roaming contracts have dropped in price considerably and in my case is much cheaper than the Spanish PAYG which seemed to eat money. |

My UK contract is sim only with EE/Orange at about 8 quid a month last time I checked and more than adequately meets my phone requirements, texts to UK being free, calls much cheaper than a Spanish PAYG and a limited amount of data, though I do also have a Spanish rural internet system in the house the beauty of which is it is unlimited and I only pay for it during the periods I spend in Spain.
